Hey all! Thought it would be cool to release some stuff I am working on. All sessions are taking place in my rehearsal room-turned-DIY-studio. I think it sounds awesome. I am working with some new musicians for this round of tunes! My trio lineup for the Badlands album have moved on in the best of ways - My drummer and brother, Matt, has a new job with some serious adult responsibilities so he's taking a break to handle business. My bassist, Kyre Wilcox, joined Ethan Miller's legendary project Holwin' Rain and had been on fire like always. For Demon Run (and much of the upcoming releases) I've been working with Justin Delavega (Loom, Warish) on drums, Travis Baucum (Red Wizard, he also played the harp solo on the Badlands tune "Mexico") on harp/theremin/echoplex, my old Pharlee bandmate Garret Lekas on keys and two great buddies Cory Martinez and Peter Cai who I met at Studio West during the pandemic who, in addition to being great musicians (guitar and bass, respectively), bring a ton of audio engineering know-how to mix and have aided with the project flow in an immeasurable way. We are probably looking for a second drummer who is comfortable with every style of music and has time to burn ;)
Much more to come! Thanks for the support XOXO - Zack

For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst

It's only four tracks, yes, but it's four tracks of great cosmic psychedelia.
